Whether annual or once every 5 years, family pictures are important to have done! Not for you, necessarily, but for your kids, and their kids, and the kids that will be here long after you’re gone.

If it’s not documented at some point, you might forget that Jackson’s favorite shoes were yellow and never on the right feet, or that Emily couldn’t keep a dress clean for more than 15 minutes. But did you know the simple act of having your families’ pictures hung in your house is a good self-esteem booster for your kids?

David Krauss, a licensed psychologist from Cleveland, Ohio says, “I think it is really important to show a family as a family unit. It is so helpful for children to see themselves as a valued and important part of that family unit.
