I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family since before their cute little girl was even born. Since before my business was even “official”! Because who better to practice new things with than your neighbor?? They’re so convenient. 😉
They stuck with me before I even had a good grasp of what the heck I was doing, or which direction I was heading with my photography. And for that, I’m incredibly thankful. Jessie would willingly bring her daughter over for me to practice lighting techniques on (back before I had a kiddo of my own!) and has always loved the images I produced. These are true friends. Because I wasn’t very good back then. Ha!
So this year, we decided to “go big” for their annual family session. It was the perfect time of year up at Mount Rainier to be a photographer! Wildflowers were in bloom. The mountain was out. And the sun was beaming just perfectly! It was a smidge cold, but they rocked it regardless.
